Our five senses allow us to enjoy the world around us — the taste of our food, the sound of music, the beauty of a sunrise, the softness of our mom’s hand, and the fragrance of a flower. Children may recognize the importance of their senses, but they don’t often focus on them individually. This month we have created and gathered a multitude of games, activities, arts and crafts to help our children learn about each of the five senses. We, also, observed flashcards and REALIA, matched them to the correct sense and finally, described and discussed what we are experiencing and observing in the world around us.
